3G Full Size Rugby / Soccer Floodlight Pitch
Burnage RFC was one of the first UK clubs to recognise the value and importance that 3 and now 4G technology in artificial grass had to offer grass roots sports clubs and especially rugby.
To optimise our reach and ensure that grass pitches are always available for all sports 7 days a week, regardless of what the North West weather throws at us is impossible for most clubs. And all too often its the mini and junior sections that lose out as senior games take priority as hard pressed groundsman term and keep pitches playable.
At Burnage our award winning facilities, have the capability to deal with multiple sports regardless of the weather. With both 5 a side Floodlit and Full Size Floodlit pitch options on artificial surfaces to compliment our grass field pitches we keep you playing and enjoying your chosen sport all year round.
Rugby, Football, Gaelic Football, Hurling, Lacrosse American Football and Australian Rules have all found their home at Burnage. With hundreds oaf young and senior sport players teams using our pitches every week. You can check out more about our regular pitch users here.
Pitches are supported by Independent Team Changing Rooms each centrally heated and team showers. Facilities can be cordoned to be gender specific.

5 a side
Our first investment in artificial grass was to construct a floodlit 5-a-side Football facility adjacent to the club house and changing facilities.
Open every weekday from 5pm and weekends all day to 10pm this is a very popular facility so booking is essential.

Both pitches are fully floodlight and maintained to a high standard with the 3G full pitch authorised for full contact Sports by the RFU up to National League standards.
